TV, Commercial & Film Casting Database 2026/27
WHAT IS A CASTING DATABASE?
The Limerick School of Acting Casting Database is a database of students attending the school who wish to be considered for roles in short films, TV dramas, commercials and movies. The database is accessed on a regular basis by casting directors, producers, and directors from the industry.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Presently enrolled students at the Limerick School of Acting.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
We will give out the form in class. Bring it home, fill it out, and bring it back in with €30 cash.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The student’s headshot will be photographed in class in November
HOW LONG WILL THE STUDENT REMAIN ON THE DATABASE?
Until a new database is compiled November 2027 or the student no longer attends the Limerick School of Acting.

N.B: There is no guarantee that your son or daughter will be called for auditions if they appear on the casting database. Students are called for audition based on their suitability for a role. Students who do not subscribe will not be put forward for castings.
All auditions are cast using the Self Tape process. If a casting director deems your child/teen to be suitable for a role they will receive a page of a script from the TV/film/commercial. They will learn the lines and then tape the scene at home. You will then upload it to the casting director online to be considered for the role. Please see how to Self Tape here
Please note: this is an annual renewal of the Acting Database. All actors from 2025/26 will be removed and a new database compiled for 26/27 Any student that no longer attends classes will also be removed.
